Meet Our Attorneys
J. D. Sullivan is licensed to practice law under CA Bar No. 98057 since 1981, under AZ State Bar No. 009918 since 1985, and under NV State Bar No. 5516 since 1994. He is a Special Master for the State Bar of California, and has served as a Judicial Arbitrator for the Superior Courts of Los Angeles and El Dorado County, and the District Court of Nevada.
Danielle is an experienced attorney and mediator in Estate Planning, Guardianship, Probate, Trust Administration, and Family Law matters. Her years of experience have been acquired in private practice, public service, and in working within the courts.

Certified Paralegal / Office Manager
Lisa Apple, a native of Carson Valley, has been working for Sullivan Law since 1999 as a certified paralegal and office manager.
Paralegal CLP / Notary
Susan Happe has been working for Sullivan Law since 2019. She is a graduate of Syracuse University and is a paralegal with NALS CLP accreditation, along with being a notary public.
Legal Assistant
Dawn Robinson fell in love with our beautiful valley forty years ago and had hoped someday to retire here. Although, not ready to retire just yet; she and her husband moved from the Midwest to be near her mom in the Summer of 2019.
Intern
Ella Girdner is a Carson Valley native, who currently plays volleyball and basketball at Douglas High School, class of 2025. Ella is following in her sister, Abbi’s footsteps, working at Sullivan Law in the afternoons.
Paralegal
Rebekah Higginbotham Rebekah (Becky) Higginbotham is a native Nevadan with a large extended family rooted in the Carson Valley. Rebekah has been working in the local legal and educational community for more than 30 years and is delighted to have joined Sullivan Law as a paralegal.
